Innofood by Neuron is a Spanish biotechnological SME that provides specialised R&D tailor-made services for food industries. We design and carry out R&D projects from concept to market.
Innofood by Neuron has been the R&D team of more than 90 food industries in Spain. Acting as the external R&D department, we offer added-value services to our clientsby easy access, adaptability, personalized attention and strict confidentiality.
Innofood by Neuron offers a versatile team with wide experience in the development of complete R&D+I projects for the agro-food industry. We are 50 experienced researchers, including 20PhDs, in agro-engineering, food technology, pharmacy, biology, nutrition, chemistry and analysis. Moreover, we have a wide network of contacts within academy, research institutes, technological companies and the food industry.

FOOD TECHNOLOGY R&D SERVICES

What we offer:
Within our TECHNO category we offer a specialized service for food Science and Technology, designed with the aim of being a support for the agro-food industry to make complete R&D+i projects.They are:
-Development of new products, ingredient evaluation on matrices, design and development of food matrices at laboratory level, pilot and industrial plant; reformulation and adaptation of products for nutritioanl requirements of the market, trends, etc..
-Design of shelf-life studies: extending and evaluating the shelf-life of a food.
- Sensorial analysis of food: information about product accpetance and characteristics in all its organoleptica aspects. Consumer testing and taster training for specific products.

ZEBRA FISH MODEL FOR TESTING EFFECTIVITY AND SAFETY OF FOOD STUFF AND INGREDIENTS

What we offer:
The zebrafish is one the best organisms for studying the effects of food ingredients. Innofood by Neuron, through the Biotechnology Area, uses the zebrafish as a research model in functional studies.
Starting with the development os its own technologies, Innofood by Neuron works with international agrp-food companies in the development of new ingredients.Using the zebrafish model the company studies the effect of new compounds or compound of the nervous system, the satisfaction effect or modulation or cholesterol level has been studied.
