Company Profile:
The Madrid Science Park (PCM) is a private non-profit foundation created in 2001 with the joint collaboration of the Autonomous University (UAM) and Complutense University (UCM).
At present, PCM is a model of leadership in the science and technology park field thanks to the dynamic role that it plays in the national R&D system. In record time, the Science Park has contributed to Madrid's being situated at the top of Spanish science and technology parks.

PCM's goals are research, development, and innovation, with special attention placed on interdisciplinary aspects, transfer of knowledge to society, businesses, and entrepreneurs, the use of R&D results in products, processes, and services that promote progress and social wellbeing.

If it can be said that PCM is a generalist park, the main sectors in which it focuses its business development and scientific operations are the following: biosciences and agro-food, information technology, new materials and nanotechnology, environment, and renewable energies. Since its founding, more than 200 companies have passed through PCM and it currently has 133 associated companies, 58% of which are NEBTs. The survival rate among all companies is 96%, which demonstrates a clear success in its business incubation and support for business development.
