Company Profile:
CLuster FooD+I is an ASSOCIATION comprising companies, research centres and regional government institutions interested in and qualified to promote development and COMPETITIVENESS in the FOOD INDUSTRY within the EBRO VALLEY region.
The Cluster FooD+i Association is a not-for-profit body and is recognised as an innovation cluster by the Spanish Ministry for Industry, Tourism and Trade.
Any company, body or entity wishing to innovate and get involved can become a member and be a part of this initiative free of charge.
Key features of &034;Cluster Food+i&034;:
1. Regional scope: The Ebro Valley. An initiative started in the La Rioja region that aims to include the entire natural Ebro Valley area.
2. Sector: Food industry.
3. Partnerships: All agents involved in developing the sector: Companies, research and knowledge entities, government agencies.
4. Balance: Between competitiveness and collaboration. Within a framework of confidence and via shared interest projects.

Objectives:
• To group together individuals or companies, training centres, public and private research units and other public and private agents linked to the food industry.
• To defend companies, professionals and agents within the sector against public opinion, spreading accurate information about the industry.
• To create suitable tools to increase effectiveness when defending shared interests, particularly within the technological, financial, commercial tax and employment spheres.
• To contribute effectively to the transfer of technology, the creation of networks and the dissemination of information, achieving a level that ensures competitiveness.
