Agroindustrias del Istmo

Las Casitas, Tegucigalpa, Honduras
ZIP Code

Company Profile:
Agroindustrias del Istmo is a food processing company located in Honduras, Central America and is focused mainly in producing fried vegetable chips out of dasheen, taro, yucca, green and ripe plantains, bananas, sweet potatoes and beets. It also specializes in the production of tropical fruit purees and frozen products such as icecream, sherbet and ice pops made out of all-natural, tropical fruits and vegetables. Our ice pops are well known for having several fruit layers, with fruit chunks and slices actually frozen inside. Others have an artesanal appearence like the fruit was flicked onto the surface with a paintbrush. We make several original flavors like sweet corn, avocado, nance and zapote (papayo carica papaya). Our large tropical flavor selection, original artistic techniques and product aesthetic appeal has yet to find a match. We hope to find business partners who can help us put our products on the european market on a large scale.

Know how and production of fried vegetable chips. Know how and production of all-natural, icecream, sherbet and ice pops made from tropical fruits and vegetables.

What we offer:
My expertise is in producing fried vegetable chips out of dasheen, taro, yucca or cassave, potatoes, green and ripe plantains, bananas, sweet potatoes and beets.
We also specialize in the production of all-natural icecream, sherbet and ice pops, using original techniques which result in eye-catching, aesthetically pleasing frozen treats made from tropical fruits and vegetables. In fact, on many of our ice pops, the fruit can actually be seen frozen inside, others have several fruit layers and others have the appearance of the fruit being splashed onto them like paint off a brush. We produce over 40 different fruit flavors, including exotic flavors such as sweet corn, avocado, zapote (papayo carico papaya), green mango, and also ice pops with chili. We also make conventional flavors.

I am looking for a business partner who can:
1) Accept a private labeling agreement, buy my products in bulk and distribute them through their brand name.
2) Co-invest on a project where I could provide the know-how and they could invest on the equipment, logistics and marketing strategies needed to sell the product.
3) A distributor or supermarket chain willing to carry my products under a specific brand name and packaging format.
