D-fagomine a novel nutritional ingredient
What we offer:
D-fagomine is a healthy nutritional ingredient to balance refined carbohydrates in the diet also for healthy people.
Bioglane’s original research has shown that D-fagomine is an efficient agent in helping to avoid sharp blood glucose peaks following the intake of refined carbohydrates. The presence of small amounts of d-fagomine delays and balances the energy release from refined sugar and starch avoiding the health problems associated with today’s omnipresent (palatant and cheap) refined sugar diet – now recognized as a global health challenge.
D-fagomine is a little known, natural iminosugar present in buckwheat grain and buckwheat based traditional foods and could be considered one of the more simple glucose analogs present in nature.
What we are looking for:
Relevant partners from Food Industry to co-invest in the fast developement of novel proposals including d-fagomine.
