We make all the wines from our own vineyards. We select the oldest vineyards that produce a low amount of grape but of the best quality.
There are around 16 acres (40 ha) of vineyards of grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Merlot in reds, Macabeo, Xarelo and Parellada in whites (the three grapes grew up in Penedes). We are introducing others such as Chardonnay, Gewustraminer and Muscat.
&034;Toietes&034; is a young white wine elaborated with Xarel•lo. A smooth and fresh wine with only 12º. Releases a fruitful aroma and a touch of final acidity proper to young wines.
&034;Tottó&034; is a Xarel•lo fermented in barrel. It has a strong body and structure, a darker yellow colour and a complex aroma of ripe quinces, orange flower, plum, peach and also toasts from the European oak barrel. In 2005 this wine has got an award in the gastronomic forum of Girona, “Giroví 2007”. In September ’08 we have got a silver medal in the international competition of Mundus Vini 2008, and in October 2008 has got the silver medal in Vinhoreca 2008, a national contest in Madrid. And finally a especial mention (or Commended) in the Wine Asia Award 2008.
&034;Balló&034; is a Merlot aged in oak barrels for approximately 9 months. It is a soothing wine of a strong structure endowed with aromas from blackberry to toast of the barrel. Our first vintage of 2006 will be aged into the bottle until more or less February 2009.
All the names of our wine come from our ancestors.
